Virginia Rusterholtz, Bobby Mudge, Jack Navarro, Mark Reed from Verizon. The issues discussed were, Safety, contracts, grievances, arbitrations, and the general working relationship between Verizon and the Unions representing the work force. We have agreed to hold conference calls with Business Managers and Union Safety Officers throughout Verizon areas to see what needs to be done to provide training and reduce accidents. AS MORE MEETINGS TAKE PLACE, I WILL UPDATE THE RESULTS. May 30th, 2008. On Friday May 30th, 2008 a conference call with Verizon Safety Director and Union Business Managers and safety managers was held. Items discussed are the need for standardized training and follow up that is presented jointy by verizon and Union. Such as electrical, ladder, and climbing safety. Other issues will be discussed on the next conference call.
